"This is a nomination long overdue. Lorena has for 12 months shown that she is an Employee of the Month. Lorena has a gift for indoor plant care. She has nurtured, watered and cleaned the lobby plants to a point we can all be proud of. It is obvious she takes great pride in what she does. The lobby looks wonderful and welcoming for our guests. Whenever extra effort is needed for VIP arrivals, ice patrol or whatever, it doesn’t matter, she is always there and I’m not pulling your leg. We were having huge problems with the drainpipe at Enchantment Circle. There was a very large rock lodged midway in the pipe and it blocked leaves, branches and dirt to the point it was ineffective for drainage.  Water from the wash simply went over the road. Lorena crawled into the pipe, tied a rope to the rock and pulled it out.  I want you to know Ramiro Martinez also helped. Ramiro was an EOM nominee for December. The pipe is now beautifully clean. I could write pages about Lorena. In your heart you know she is deserving of this honor." Dana Smith

"Not only does Jeff always have a smile on his face day in and day out, he is always willing to help any and all employees no matter what department they work in. A few Sundays ago I was PM MOD, housekeeping was a little short staff and Jeff just jumped in without being asked. He started folding towels, linens, etc. He then went and assisted with turndown for a couple of rooms.  his was all done along with his regular duties and to finish the evening, there was an employee accident. I had been lucky enough on previous MOD shifts to not have an incident, so I was not familiar with the forms needed filling out. Of course, Jeff graciously showed me how to fill the forms out. Matthew has even volunteered to make some late evening and very early morning trips to Phoenix to pick up visiting staff from the Tides.
