"Many, many thanks to Gus for his outstanding effort in June to prepare the area north of Mii amo for this year’s Sweat Lodge. Due to some very nice rain this winter, we had more than the usual amount of grass. We all know what a lot of dead, dry grass leads to, just ask all those people involved in suppressing the Cave Creek Fires. Gus worked many days, by himself, cutting down the old grass, pruning trees and raking up the mess. The area is beautiful (you really should see it). His work also guaranteed that we would have a safe summer solstice activity. Gus was also a key player in the wash cleanup effort. Whew what a task, two 40 cubic yard dumpsters of debris left here. Job well done señor and I trust your colleagues will agree you are an employee of the month."
